Brain Injury Information Specialist
We're Hiring! Brain Injury Information Specialist – Albuquerque, NM
The Brain Injury Alliance of New Mexico is seeking a compassionate, organized, full-time Brain Injury Information Specialist to support the New Mexico Brain Injury Resource Center program, helping individuals with brain injury and their families connect with resources, services, and support throughout New Mexico.
This office-based position includes:
- Brain injury resource navigation and information/referral services
- Community outreach and education
- Support group coordination
- Documentation and data entry
- Building relationships with community partners
- Light daily office upkeep to maintain a welcoming environment
Experience with brain injury is not required. We provide comprehensive training in brain injury, community resources, the Brain Injury Services Fund (BISF), and peer support group facilitation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a social work student, community health worker, peer support worker, care coordinator, recent graduate, or anyone interested in disability and human services.

💼 Salary: $19 - $20 per hour (DOE) + Health insurance reimbursement, paid holidays, PTO, professional development, and CBIS certification support.
