Marketing Content Intern

River Street Sweets is a beloved Southern candy brand known for handmade pralines, gourmet treats, and warm hospitality. Our King St. location is growing its digital presence, and we’re looking for a creative student who loves storytelling, social media, and sweets.

The Marketing Content Intern will create fun, engaging Instagram Reels that showcase our products, store experience, and seasonal promotions. This is a flexible, project‑based internship ideal for students interested in marketing, social media, video production, or digital storytelling.

Create 12-monthly reels — Produce 12 edited Instagram Reels each month that highlight products, behind‑the‑scenes candy making, and customer experiences.

Capture store & product content — Film in‑store footage, product close‑ups, and seasonal display. Preferred if ok with being in content.

Follow brand voice — Maintain a warm, family‑owned, Southern‑hospitality tone.

Collaborate with manager — Submit drafts, incorporate feedback, and meet monthly deadlines and align to special events and holidays.

Track content — Provide a simple log of completed Reels each month and track analytics/impressions.

$250/month for delivery of 12 approved Reels

Preferred Skills

Basic video editing (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Rush, etc.)

Understanding of Instagram trends and audio

Creative eye for storytelling

Reliable communication and time management
