About the Role
We’re hiring a part-time Social Work Support Intern to assist with client materials, care documentation, and other administrative projects. This is a great opportunity for a social work student who wants to learn more about senior care, client services, and the administrative side of supporting individuals and families.
This is a non-clinical, on-site internship requiring approximately four hours per week.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare consultation packets for prospective clients and families
- Assemble client care binders
- Prepare and send cards to clients, caregivers, and community partners
- Download, print, and organize documents
- Organize physical and electronic files
- Assist with other small client-support and office projects as needed
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing a degree in Social Work or a related human services field
- Friendly, compassionate, and passionate about helping others
- Interested in learning more about home care and senior services
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Dependable and able to follow instructions
- Comfortable handling sensitive information professionally
- Possess basic technical skills, including downloading, printing, and organizing documents
- Able to work on-site in Huntington Beach for approximately four hours per week
