Job Title: Eco-Tour Guide (Part-Time)

Location: Los Angeles and West Hollywood

Overview

You will lead hiking and biking day tours while delivering a safe, professional, high-quality guest experience. You are often the first impression guests will have of Los Angeles—and sometimes of the United States. Primarily on tour; occasional office hours. Not only are we bringing people into the outdoors and building thier skill and comfort, we aim to entertain and teach them about local history and cultural quirks.

Ideal Candidate

Reliable, confident, guest-focused, and comfortable leading groups in outdoor environments. Takes safety, professionalism, and representation seriously. Enthusasitic about both the urban and wild aspects of Los Angeles and Southern California.

Requirements

  • Outgoing and comfortable speaking to groups
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Able to hike up to 6 miles/day carrying a 10 lb pack.
  • Comfortable biking on urban streets
  • Able to change a bike inner tube and perform basic repairs (or willing to learn)
  • First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Reliable transportation to trailheads
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Must be at least 18

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.06 - $28.97 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
