Caregiver / Personal Support Worker

Pay: $16.32–$20.21 per hour

Hours: Approximately 33 hours per week broke up 

Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 6:00 PM–7:00 PM
• Weekends: 8:30 AM–2:30 PM and 6:00 PM–7:00 PM

Position Overview:
Seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide support for an adult receiving long-term care services. The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, willing to learn, and committed to providing respectful, person-centered care.

Job Duties:

• Assist with transfers using a mechanical lift
• Medication reminders/assistance
• Apply creams and provide oral care
• Assist with range-of-motion exercises
• Support with daily personal care needs

About the Individual:

• Uses a wheelchair and mechanical lift for transfers
• Enjoys cards, games, artwork, and shopping
• Has some short-term memory challenges
• Communicates verbally
• Dog in the home
• Non-smoking household

Ideal Candidate:

• Caregiving experience preferred
• Responsible and dependable
• Willing to learn
• Engages respectfully with the individual
• Limits cellphones use while providing care (emergency use only)
