Special Education Teacher

Lighthouse Therapy LLC is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers in Wyoming schools for the 26-27 school year. This role focuses on small-group instruction and individualized support for students with IEPs, helping them succeed in the least restrictive environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction aligned to IEP goals in reading, math, behavior, and executive functioning

Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion

Conduct IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring

Full caseload, M-F full days

Elementary and Secondary school ages.   

Attend monthly check ins with the school sped team

Requirements:

Valid Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board (PTSB) with appropriate special education endorsement

Experience writing and implementing IEPs and BIPs

Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Ability to go onsite 3 times per year with paid travel stipend
