In-School Counselor

Lakeside Educational Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counselor to join our In-School Counselor Program. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students' mental and emotional well-being in the School Lane Charter School located in Bensalem, PA., helping them to identify and manage issues that may impact on their educational experience. This is a 2 day per week position.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to students to address mental and emotional challenges Actively listen to students and ask insightful questions to help them understand their problems Develop and implement strategies to assist students in improving their overall well-being and academic performance

Collaborate with school district staff to monitor student progress and facilitate transitions out of counseling services 

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.

Valid counseling license or certification (LSW, LPC, LPCA, LMFT) as required by state regulations.

Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff.

Experience in counseling or working with youth in an educational setting is preferred.
