Corco Construction
Location: Conway, Arkansas
Employment Type: Full-Time

About Corco Construction
Corco Construction is a growing general contractor focused on commercial, industrial, build-out, and ground-up construction projects. We are built on strong client relationships, practical problem-solving, disciplined execution, reliable subcontractor partnerships, and doing the right thing.
Position Summary
Corco Construction is looking for an entry-level Construction Field Coordinator who wants to build a long-term career in commercial construction.
This position is designed for recent high school or college graduates, military veterans, and candidates early in their careers who are dependable, curious, organized, and willing to learn. Prior commercial construction experience is helpful but not required.
The Construction Field Coordinator will work alongside Corco’s Superintendents and Project Managers to learn both the field and project-management sides of the business. The role will support jobsite coordination, project documentation, subcontractor follow-up, quality control, scheduling, safety, cost tracking, and project closeout.
This is not a general labor position or a passive office role. The successful candidate will spend significant time on active jobsites, learn how commercial projects are built, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and gradually earn greater independence.
Depending on performance, interests, and business needs, this role may develop into an Assistant Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, Superintendent, or Project Manager position.
Key Responsibilities
Field and Jobsite Support
- Assist the Superintendent with daily jobsite coordination and supervision.
- Learn to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, submittals, shop drawings, schedules, and scopes of work.
- Confirm subcontractors are working from current drawings and project information.
- Observe work in progress and help identify quality issues, missing information, coordination conflicts, and potential delays.
- Help verify measurements, layouts, elevations, rough-ins, finishes, and other field conditions against the plans.
- Assist with coordinating subcontractors, deliveries, inspections, materials, equipment, and jobsite logistics.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and professionally managed jobsite.
- Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, inspections, and documentation.
- Assist with completion lists, punch lists, final inspections, and project closeout.
- Perform minor touch-ups or small Corco-owned tasks when appropriate to help keep the project moving.
Project Coordination and Documentation
- Support Project Managers and Superintendents with project communication, documentation, and follow-through.
- Complete or assist with daily reports, progress photos, manpower tracking, delivery records, and jobsite documentation in Procore.
- Help prepare, track, and organize RFIs, submittals, meeting notes, action items, change documentation, and project correspondence.
- Document field conditions, verbal direction, subcontractor questions, and unresolved issues.
- Track deadlines, open items, commitments, and follow-up responsibilities.
- Assist with project setup, including project files, subcontractor lists, schedules, permits, utilities, temporary facilities, and site logistics.
- Participate in subcontractor meetings, internal project meetings, and site walks.
- Help maintain project schedules and communicate upcoming constraints or priorities.
- Assist with invoice review, cost tracking, pay applications, lien waivers, material tracking, and closeout documentation as assigned.
- Support warranties, as-builts, owner deliverables, final billing, and other closeout requirements.
What Success Looks Like
- You show up on time, prepared, and ready to contribute.
- You take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through consistently.
- You ask thoughtful questions rather than guessing.
- You learn the plans, scopes, subcontractors, and project requirements.
- You communicate early when you identify a problem, risk, or missing piece of information.
- You maintain accurate, organized, and current project documentation.
- You help keep the jobsite safe, clean, coordinated, and moving forward.
- You pay attention to details and help catch issues before they become expensive problems.
- You accept coaching, learn from mistakes, and show increasing independence over time.
- You build trust with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal team members.
