Work schedule: This role requires a significant on-site presence, up to five days a week during the summer months (May-August), and flexibility to work beyond standard business hours (9-5) to support events and time-sensitive projects.
Job Description:
We are recruiting for a polished and motivated individual to join our Talent Acquisition team. As a Campus Recruiting Coordinator, you will provide general administrative support to the Campus Recruiting Team, including coordinating interview scheduling, candidate correspondence, offer letter generation, background monitoring, invoice processing and other administrative tasks related to recruitment. To succeed in this role, you will need to be detail oriented, be an excellent communicator with internal and external clients of all levels and possess strong time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
- During the Summer Intern Program, supervise networking/ social events such as lunch and learns, teach ins, trivia night, etc.
- Set up catering for all campus events, act as a liaison between Mizuho and outside vendors
- Manage logistics for virtual and on-campus events
- Post openings to online school boards such as Handshake
- Maintain recruiting database and applicant tracking system
- Assist with the development and distribution of university marketing collateral for recruiting events
- Coordinate and execute candidate, team, and hiring manager correspondence
- Make candidate travel arrangements
- Schedule interviews
- Support ongoing projects such as diversity hiring, employee resource groups, campus ambassadors, etc.
- Process all invoices for campus expenses and candidate travel; maintain budget status and tracking report
- Process offer letters, monitor background checks and facilitate onboarding for campus and first year hires (e.g. background checks)
Qualifications:
0 – 2 years of experience and would prefer someone with experience supporting a campus team/program or a recent grad with internship experience supporting HR/campus.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, utilizing pivots, charts and formulas to analyze data and provide strategic reporting and presentations for senior leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Detail oriented
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Personable, approachable and successful at building relationships
- Ability to represent Mizuho and HR internally and externally in a polished and professional manner
- Open and receptive to suggestions and feedback.
- Calm under pressure, flexible, positive attitude
Preferred experience:
- Event coordination with the ability to develop and execute detailed project plans
- Management of multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to catalog, manipulate and analyze data
