SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: East London

Pay Rate: £110 per day
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools in East London. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and transforming setting that is committed to delivering outstanding support for pupils with a range of additional needs.
The schools support children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), complex learning needs, and challenging behaviour. Successful candidates will work closely with teaching staff and support staff to provide high-quality educational, behavioural, and personal care support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
- Support students with Autism, PMLD, complex needs, and behavioural challenges.
- Assist with personal care where required.
- Implement behaviour support strategies and positive behaviour interventions.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
- Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
- Experience supporting pupils with Autism and behaviour needs.
- Comfortable providing personal care and supporting complex needs.
- Positive, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting vulnerable learners.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
