STEM Instructor - After School and Summer Camp Programs

Job Type: Part‑time 

Schedule:

  • School Year: Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Summer Camps: Mon–Fri, 09:00 AM – 6:00 PM

About the Job

Love working with kids? Enjoy fun, hands‑on activities? Stemtree is looking for enthusiastic instructors to teach exciting STEM projects to elementary students. No formal teaching experience required — we provide training and curriculum.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead simple, engaging STEM activities (science, building projects, basic tech)
  • Help students learn, explore, and have fun
  • Keep the classroom safe, positive, and organized
  • Set up materials and clean up after activities
  • Support students individually and in small groups

What We’re Looking For

  • Enjoy working with children
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Reliable and able to manage a classroom
  • Interest in STEM (no advanced knowledge needed)
  • Must successfully pass a background check and Live Scan fingerprint clearance

Nice to Have

  • Experience in camps, tutoring, or after‑school programs
