Pre-Kindergarten Aide

Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is a faith-filled community dedicated to fostering academic excellence, social/emotional growth, and spiritual development in our students. We are seeking a warm, energetic, and dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Aide to join our early childhood team. The Pre-K Aide works closely with the lead teacher to support daily classroom activities, foster a positive and structured learning environment, and care for the spiritual, emotional, and academic needs of our students. The ideal candidate loves working with young children and is enthusiastic about supporting the mission of Catholic education.

Key Responsibilities Classroom Support: Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans, managing learning centers, and preparing classroom materials/crafts.

Student Supervision: Help monitor children during classroom time, recess, and transitions throughout the school building to ensure a safe environment.

Small Group Instruction: Guide small groups of students through activities, as directed by the lead teacher.

Faith Formation: Help cultivate a Catholic faith environment by participating in daily prayers and modeling Christian values and kindness.

Classroom Management: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. Help children with personal care tasks when needed (e.g., handwashing, tying shoes).

Community Relations: Maintain a positive, professional, and welcoming demeanor with parents, staff, and visitors.

Our PreK program operates M-F 8-11. Tuition discounts are available for children attending schools in the Diocese of Salt Lake City.
