Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Hebrew Teacher to inspire and nurture a love for the Hebrew language and culture among young learners. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom environment, and support the linguistic and cultural growth of children. Duties
- Design and implement dynamic Hebrew language curricula tailored to different age groups and learning levels
- Deliver engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, vocabulary building, and conversational skills in Hebrew
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and cultural appreciation
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain discipline and promote positive behavior
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress, milestones, and areas for development
- Integrate child development instruction strategies to support early intervention and holistic growth
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, informal evaluations, and ongoing observations to tailor instruction accordingly
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching Hebrew or related language instruction to children or young learners
- Strong background in early childhood education, preschool teaching, or daycare experience
- Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with special education needs, behavior management, and childhood development principles
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain if necessary
- Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety
- Experience working with children in diverse settings such as private schools or early intervention programs is advantageous
- Ability to incorporate physical education activities and literacy strategies into daily lessons
