Preschool Teacher

Position Summary

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and energetic Preschool Teacher to join our 2–3‑year‑old classroom. The ideal candidate understands early childhood development, enjoys creating meaningful learning experiences, and thrives in a team‑oriented environment. This role includes curriculum planning, supervision, communication with families, and maintaining Title 22 compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Create a warm, responsive, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment

Plan and implement engaging activities that support social‑emotional, cognitive, and physical development

Maintain daily routines including meals, rest time, toileting, and transitions

Supervise children at all times and ensure a safe, clean classroom

Document observations and support developmental milestones

Communicate professionally with families and colleagues

Follow all Title 22 licensing regulations and program policies

Collaborate with team members to support classroom consistency and positive culture

Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development

Qualifications

Must be 18+ years old

Minimum 6 ECE units (or currently enrolled and progressing)

Experience working with toddlers or preschool‑aged children preferred

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to lift 30 lbs, sit on the floor, and actively engage with children

Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude

Preferred Qualifications

3–6 months experience in a licensed childcare setting

Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice

Familiarity with play‑based or Montessori‑inspired environments

Schedule & Compensation

Full‑time, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

17.50-21 per hour based on experience and education

Paid training and professional development
