Position Overview:

As a Healthcare Administration Intern, you will engage in telephonic patient care coordination, providing vital support to our patients and ensuring their healthcare needs are met. This internship opportunity offers invaluable experience in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison for DirectRx Pharmacy, engaging in telephonic communication with patients to facilitate comprehensive pharmacy services. 
• Accurately input patient data and maintain thorough records. 
• Conduct comprehensive communication with patients regarding therapy, ensuring clarity and understanding. 
• Schedule initial fills and refills, coordinating with patients and caregivers. 
• Promptly respond to patient inquiries and needs. 
• Educate patients on medication compliance when necessary. 
• Support the transfer of patient prescriptions as directed by the pharmacist.
