Duties

• Design and implement comprehensive geometry curricula aligned with educational standards and tailored to varied student needs.
• Deliver engaging lessons on geometric principles, trigonometry, algebra, calculus, and related topics such as proof techniques and spatial reasoning.
• Incorporate educational technology and IT-integrated lessons to enhance understanding and engagement.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing timely feedback and support to foster growth.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment conducive to active participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment methods to ensure consistency and excellence across grade levels.
• Support students’ academic advising, tutoring, and preparation for standardized testing while respecting individual learning styles.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to science education, research methodologies, and innovative teaching practices.
• Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student performance, attendance, and compliance with educational regulations.
• Participate in school activities such as teacher meetings, mentoring programs, and community outreach initiatives.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, algebra, calculus, discrete math, differential equations, molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, and laboratory experience relevant to science education.
• Proven experience in high school or middle school teaching environments with a focus on science or mathematics subjects.
• Expertise in curriculum development and implementation tailored to diverse student populations with varying learning styles.
• Proficiency in integrating educational technology tools for interactive lessons and assessments.
• Excellent classroom management skills combined with behavior management strategies suitable for teenagers from different cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively to students of all levels of understanding.
• Experience working with special education needs or implementing inclusive teaching practices such as Montessori or other pedagogical approaches.
• Strong organizational skills for lesson planning, instructional design, proofreading materials, and maintaining compliance documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers on curriculum implementation and educational research initiatives.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and academic advising processes within private or public school settings.
