General Function: Under supervision of the Youth Center Director, this position is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of an after school youth center program.

Principle Activities: 

1.     Engaging with youth in the activities.

2.     Assist in supervising all after school operations of the youth center.

3.     Assist in promoting youth center activities and special events.

4.     Maintain a positive and safe atmosphere for all center youth.

5.     Assist in programming activities for youth.

6.     Maintain a clean and healthy environment for the center, including daily cleaning and periodic maintenance.

7.     Assist in supervision of youth trips, after hours, and other programs as applicable.

8.     Maintain regular communication with Youth Center Director regarding youth activities and behavior. 

9.     Assist in implementation of fundraising events and activities.

10. Responsible for Youth Center operations with other Youth Center staff when Director is not on site.

11. Observe, enforce and be able to explain all Youth Center rules and regulations

12. Other duties as assigned by the Youth Center Director.
