Paralegal

Job Opportunity: 

Experienced Paralegal/Legal Secretary in a high-profile Philadelphia Trial Attorney's Law Firm

We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team and contribute to our success in handling complex legal cases.

Position: Paralegal/Legal Secretary

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, prepare, and e-file legal documents related to discovery, pleadings, motions, trial, and post-trial phases of litigation in Philadelphia and New Jersey.
  • Obtain and organize medical records; coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely collection of documentation for litigation, discovery, settlement, and trial preparation.
  • Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling, appointments, and court dates. 
  • Organize file documents and maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other law firms.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the office.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years proven experience as a Paralegal/Legal Secretary in a PA Personal Injury Trial Attorney's law firm.
  • Must be able to work with dictation and online court e-filing systems in PA and NJ.
  • Strong organizational, calendaring, and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in using legal software, Neos, Lexis Nexis, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or college diploma.
  • References
