Automation Digital Product Manager (AI & Intelligent Automation)

Rate: $65/hr C2C

Location: 100% Remote (USA)

Conversion: Candidates must be willing to convert to a full-time position within 3–6 months.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation Digital Product Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of automation initiatives within an Automation Center of Excellence. This role combines Product Management, Delivery Management, Business Analysis, and Requirements Gathering to identify automation opportunities, define product roadmaps, manage delivery, and drive continuous process improvement.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with AI, Intelligent Automation, RPA, Agile methodologies, and digital product delivery, while collaborating closely with business and technical teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, and Project Management
• Strong experience managing the complete lifecycle of digital or automation products
• Expertise in business discovery, process analysis, and requirements gathering
• Experience documenting business requirements, workflows, and process maps
• Strong backlog management, prioritization, and roadmap planning experience
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience
• Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar project management tools
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business discovery sessions to understand business processes, workflows, and operational challenges
• Gather, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements
• Develop automation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
• Manage product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery planning
• Conduct feasibility assessments and identify automation opportunities
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource planning
• Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Track delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and project outcomes
• Lead backlog refinement sessions and facilitate business sign-offs
• Measure automation success through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor
• Support post-production enhancements and ongoing optimization initiatives

AI & Automation Experience

• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intelligent Automation
• Experience with Agentic AI or advanced automation frameworks (Preferred)
• Experience using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar AI tools
• Experience using AI for requirements analysis, documentation, automation, and productivity
• Experience delivering web-based automation solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agentic AI
• Strong process mapping skills
• Experience with Power BI or data visualization tools
• Healthcare or Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) experience
• Agile, Business Analysis, or RPA certifications
• MBA or Master's degree (Preferred)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master's degree or MBA is preferred
