DevOps Engineer

 

Social Studio The Agency is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and maintain the infrastructure that powers our platforms. You will work closely with our engineering team to streamline deployments, improve system reliability, and champion a culture of automation and continuous improvement.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable software delivery
  • - Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
  • - Manage containerized workloads with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes
  • - Build monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance
  • - Automate operational tasks with scripting (Bash, Python) to reduce manual work
  • - Collaborate with developers to improve deployment processes and troubleshoot production issues
  • - Implement security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines

Requirements:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)
  • - Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • - Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • - Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)
  • - Strong scripting skills in Bash and/or Python
  • - Understanding of networking, Linux systems administration, and version control (Git)
  • - Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to have:

  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
  • - Knowledge of GitOps workflows and tools like ArgoCD
  • - Relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, etc.)

This is a remote position open to candidates within the US.
