ERP Analyst I or II

Join the City of Tallahassee as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Support System Analyst and become part of a collaborative team dedicated to supporting innovative business solutions that improve operations, enhance efficiency, and advance the City's mission.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide day-to-day support for the City's human resources and financial management systems, helping employees resolve issues and maximize system functionality.
  • Partner with departments to identify opportunities for process improvements, implement new system features, and support successful adoption through training and documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and end users to test system enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality before implementation.
  • Create reports and assist with data analysis to help departments access the information they need to support business operations.
  • Support system-related projects and help communicate planned maintenance, outages, and major system initiatives across the organization.

Minimum Training & Experience

This position is advertised at two levels. Applicants will be considered for the level that best matches their qualifications.

ERP Analyst I

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, plus three (3) years of qualifying experience; or
• High school diploma or GED, plus seven (7) years of qualifying experience.


ERP Analyst II

• Bachelor's degree in one of the fields listed above, plus five (5) years of qualifying experience; or
• High school diploma or GED, plus nine (9) years of qualifying experience.


Additional Requirement (Both Levels)
Valid Class E State of Florida driver's license or equivalent

Qualifying Experience

Qualifying experience includes one or both of the following:

  • Supporting enterprise-wide Human Resources or Financial Management (ERP) systems.
  • Operational experience in accounting, payroll, recruitment, compensation, computer systems analysis, or other human resources or financial operations.
