Summary
Home To Stay is seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to support our branding, digital marketing, and community outreach initiatives. This hands-on internship offers the opportunity to gain real-world experience in content creation, social media strategy, employer branding, and digital communications while supporting a growing healthcare organization dedicated to helping older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safely at home.
Responsibilities, Duties & Projects
- Create engaging social media graphics, short-form videos, and written content
- Schedule and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms
- Assist with recruitment marketing campaigns to attract caregivers and office staff
- Support the development and organization of Canva brand templates and marketing assets
- Research social media trends and recommend new content ideas
- Monitor engagement metrics and prepare basic performance reports
- Assist with photography and video content for company events, employee recognition, and community outreach
- Support marketing and community engagement initiatives as assigned

Student Eligibility & Qualifications
- To be eligible for this internship through the NJ Career Accelerator Internship Grant Program, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Current New Jersey undergraduate student
- Current New Jersey graduate student
- Recent New Jersey college graduate (must have graduated within one year prior to the internship start date)
- Current undergraduate student who is a permanent New Jersey resident (eligibility determined on a case-by-case basis)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Canva; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative eye for design, branding, and visual storytelling
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of social media marketing, engagement, and analytics
- Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Interest in healthcare, aging services, human services, or community-based organizations is a plus
