Classified Conservation Corpsmember (Temporary Pool), STOCKTON, Greater Valley Conservation Corps

Job Summary

Using the skills and knowledge developed as a Corpsmember, you will continue to support the Greater Valley Conservation Corps by acting as a mentor to other Corpsmembers, in addition to other duties specified by the Greater Valley Conservation Corps Leader. Corpsmembers implement a wide variety of projects with parks, schools, businesses, non-profit and neighborhoods, including collection, outreach and education. Natural resource jobs can and will include, but not limited to; landscape maintenance, tree trimming, demolition, bark projects, habitat restoration and invasive species removal.

Requirements / Qualifications

Eligibility requirements: 

• Between the ages of 18 and 26 
• Can pass random drug testing 
• Have a High School Diploma, GED or are enrolled in a school program or are willing to be enrolled to pursue these academic goals.
