$19/hr -$1000 sign on bonus

Position Summary
The Recovery Advocate plays a vital role in supporting clients throughout their treatment experience by providing supervision, transportation, medication administration, documentation, and daily support. Successful candidates are reliable, professional, and capable of working independently while maintaining a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Must understand and follow NBH's Drug and Alcohol Policy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, recovery support, or related fields preferred
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer client medications and maintain accurate documentation
- Monitor client activities and maintain awareness of house operations
- Transport clients to appointments, intake pickups, discharge drop-offs, and community activities
- Ensure safe and appropriate conduct during transportation
- Conduct routine house rounds and monitor client safety
- Complete objective and timely documentation in client records and communication logs
- Assist with client admissions, orientations, and program procedures
- Support counselors and treatment staff as needed
- Serve as a positive role model and encourage clients in achieving treatment goals
- Participate in recreational and recovery-oriented activities with clients
- Provide information regarding community resources and support services
- Maintain knowledge of 245G regulations, program policies, client rights, and confidentiality requirements
- Complete clerical duties including filing, copying, faxing, data entry, and maintaining forms and supplies
- Assist with food preparation and household cleaning tasks as needed
- Participate in shift change reports and maintain effective communication with team members
- Adhere to attendance standards and scheduling requirements
- Work rotational schedules, including holidays, weekends, and occasional off-shift coverage as needed
