The Opportunity
Bossity is looking for emerging social and promotional video editors who are creative, dependable, eager to learn, and excited to strengthen their portfolios through professional client work.
This is a freelance contractor role designed for editors who already understand the basics but want more experience working with real footage, deadlines, client goals, brand guidelines, and creative feedback.
You will receive direct mentorship from Bossity’s founder and gain hands-on experience supporting a growing creative production company.
What You’ll Create:
Projects may include:
- Short-form social media videos
- Promotional videos and sizzle reels
- Event recaps and highlight social-edits
- Talking-head and interview content
- Brand storytelling and speaker reels
- Educational and thought-leadership content
- Platform-specific edits for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other channels

What We’re Looking For:
- Based in or near San Diego
- Experience editing video in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve (Canva, Photoshop, Lightroom when applicable)
- A strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, music, captions, and social-first editing
- Willingness to receive feedback and revise work
- Reliable communication and organization
- Ability to meet agreed-upon deadlines
- Genuine interest in learning and growing creatively
- Professionalism when handling client footage and confidential materials
- Current students, recent graduates, and self-taught editors are encouraged to apply.
Contractor Structure
This is a freelance, project-based contractor opportunity. Assignments, timelines, deliverables, and rates will be agreed upon before each project begins. Work is not guaranteed and will depend on Bossity’s current production needs.
