Job Position: Teacher of the Visually Impaired

Location: Naperville, IL 60540

Description:

Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join a supportive school district near Naperville, Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students with visual impairments achieve academic success.

Position Details:


  • Full-time, in-person position


  • 2026–2027 school year


  • Competitive pay starting at $45/hour (based on experience)


Qualifications:


  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)


  • Proper Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) endorsement


  • Passion for supporting students with visual impairments


  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
