Description:

Birch Agency is seeking a qualified Orientation & Mobility (O&M) Specialist to join a supportive school district near Naperville, Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, in-person position working with students to develop the skills and confidence needed for safe and independent travel within the school and community environments.

Position Details:

• Full-time, in-person position




• 2026–2027 school year




• Competitive pay starting at $45/hour (based on experience)

Qualifications:

• Active Orientation & Mobility Specialist license/certification




• Previous school-based experience required




• Strong collaboration and communication skills




• Passion for supporting students with visual impairments and promoting independence
