Library Assistant

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Baton Rouge-based part-time position for a  grad student to work  in the Louisiana Department of Economic Development Library.

Prefer a Library/Information Studies studies, but will consider applicants from other disciplines.

Two-person special library designed to provide support to the state’s economic development activities.  

Excellent skill-building job, involving responsibilities in all aspects of library operations: collection management, current awareness, reference and acquisitions.

No previous library experience required

No remote work available--must be able to work in Baton Rouge

$11.00/hour, 20 hours/week

No nights, weekends, or holidays
