Graphic Designer – Interactive / Multimedia Book Design

We are seeking a creative and technically curious Graphic Designer to support the development of innovative digital books that incorporate a range of multimedia elements, including music, graphics, video, animation, and interactive features.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in working on book projects that combine both visual design and technical production. This role requires someone who is excited by the possibilities of modern publishing and willing to help create and embed engaging multimedia components into digital book formats.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and format visually engaging book layouts for digital or interactive publishing.
• Incorporate multimedia elements such as music, graphics, video, animation, and other interactive features.
• Work with existing visual assets, media files, and content to create a cohesive reader experience.
• Collaborate with authors, editors, developers, or production teams to bring multimedia book concepts to life.
• Learn and adapt to new software or digital publishing tools as needed.
• Ensure that design elements are polished, consistent, and technically functional within the chosen publishing platform.
• Support the technical embedding and organization of multimedia components within the book.

Qualifications

• Strong graphic design skills, including layout, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Interest in digital books, interactive publishing, or multimedia storytelling.
• Comfort working with both creative and technical aspects of production.
• Willingness to learn new software or digital publishing platforms.
• Ability to work with multimedia assets such as audio, video, graphics, and animation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to create a cohesive visual experience.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
