Sales Assistant

Max Media of Hampton Roads, LLC currently has an opening for a Full-Time Sales Assistant.  As the sales assistant, you will proactively assist Sales Team with day-to-day duties, be the liaison between Sales Reps/Clients and other departments, specifically traffic dept.  You will proactively assist Sales Team and management by researching and pulling together sales pieces and become an expert in the various sales programs.

The sales assistant will serve as backup to traffic manager

Required Skills:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally w/ colleagues, clients, and management
• Ambitious and proactive, assist and address daily needs of Sales Management and Sales Team
• Excellent administrative skills, strong organizational skills, and strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines 
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently with minimal supervision
• Strong computing skills and ability to learn new software quickly
• Proficient in Microsoft programs - Outlook, Excel, and Word

Previous experience in radio broadcasting is preferred, but not required.
