POSITION SUMMARY

Performs a variety of professional project coordination and project management tasks in support of the software engineering team. Assists with planning, tracking, documentation, communication, and follow-up for software delivery work. Supports the Senior Manager, Product Owner, and software engineers by organizing project tasks, timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and status updates.

This role supports teams working with Fullstack development and Apex and uses tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ClickUp to manage project tasks, documentation, workflows, and delivery progress. This position is ideal for someone with experience managing projects, working across technical and non-technical teams, and keeping software initiatives organized and moving forward.

 

MAJOR DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Supports the Senior Manager and Product Owner with software project coordination, planning, and delivery tracking.

Organizes project tasks, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables to support software engineering priorities.

Assists with sprint planning, backlog tracking, user stories, acceptance criteria, and task updates in Jira and ClickUp.

Maintains project documentation, meeting notes, process guides, status updates, and decision logs in Confluence.

Coordinates follow-ups with software engineers, product stakeholders, and other cross-functional partners.

Identifies risks, blockers, dependencies, and next steps, escalating issues as appropriate.

Supports testing coordination, user acceptance review, release readiness activities, and implementation follow-up.

Helps translate project needs, stakeholder requests, and delivery priorities into clear action items for the team.

Tracks progress against project plans and communicates updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Helps improve team processes, documentation standards, and project tracking workflows.

Performs related duties as required or assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education — Required

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, project management, or a related field.

Education — Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, project management, information systems, or a related field.

Professional Experience — Required

Demonstrated experience in project coordination, project management, software delivery, technology operations, or a related role.

Experience working with project tasks, timelines, documentation, stakeholders, and status tracking.

Professional Experience — Preferred

Experience working with software engineering teams or technology projects.

Experience with Jira, Confluence, ClickUp, or similar project management and documentation tools.

Experience with Agile/Scrum practices, sprint planning, backlog tracking, release coordination, or user acceptance testing.

PMP certification or formal project management training is preferred, but not required.

Familiarity with Fullstack development, Apex, Salesforce, APIs, databases, or web applications.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Required

Knowledge of project management principles, project coordination practices, and software delivery workflows.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum concepts, project lifecycle management, task tracking, and documentation practices.

Ability to organize project tasks, timelines, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.

Ability to work cooperatively with software engineers, product stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional teams.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to identify risks, blockers, dependencies, and follow-up items.

Ability to maintain clear project documentation and communicate status updates effectively.

Preferred

Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and ClickUp.

Familiarity with Fullstack development and Apex-based development work.

Understanding of software testing, release readiness, user acceptance review, and implementation support.

Exposure to Salesforce, APIs, databases, or web application concepts.

Receives general supervision from the Senior Manager and Product Owner.
