Privacy Analyst

Position Type: Full-Time
Work Location: Remote (U.S. based)
Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance desired
Reporting To: Program Manager / Government Privacy Lead

Position Overview

Seeking a Privacy Analyst to support and manage federal privacy compliance activities for DFC systems and programs. This role is responsible for end-to-end privacy documentation, data mapping, and compliance reporting in alignment with federal privacy laws, OMB guidance, and agency policy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of federal privacy compliance documentation, including:

Privacy Threshold Analyses (PTAs)

Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)

System of Records Notices (SORNs)

• Develop and maintain system data inventories and data flow maps

• Analyze system architectures and business processes to identify privacy risks

• Produce accurate privacy documentation and legal-ready reports within defined timelines

• Coordinate with system owners, ISSOs, legal counsel, and program staff to validate privacy requirements

• Support audits, assessments, and internal reviews related to privacy compliance

• Ensure alignment with federal privacy statutes, OMB guidance, and agency-specific privacy policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Public Policy, Legal Studies, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience supporting or managing federal privacy programs

• Hands-on experience authoring PTAs, PIAs, and SORNs

• Experience developing data maps and privacy compliance documentation under deadline pressure

• Strong analytical, writing, and coordination skills

Desired Experience / Knowledge

• Familiarity with FISMA-moderate systems and federal IT environments

• Experience working alongside cybersecurity and RMF teams

• Understanding of federal privacy governance and reporting workflows

Security Requirement

• Active DoD Secret clearance is desired
