Inside Sales Intern
The Inside Sales Intern supports our Sales, Marketing, and Data teams to maintain and boost our current customer base. The Inside Sales Intern will begin their assignment working with the Inside Sales team to establish a baseline in product knowledge while supporting sales function by developing leads, market surveys, customer consultation, and sample product offerings. The Inside Sales Intern will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of sales, data, or marketing and advance through the program with hands-on experience.
The impact you'll have:
- Execute sales strategies by calling existing and new customers
- Provide additional administrative support to sales representatives
- Develop and refine sales skills by participating in on-going sales trainings
- Manage outbound telephone and email communication with customers and prospects
- Support the creation of specialized projects in account-based marketing and content development
- Assist in marketing research and campaigns.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team.

Required Education and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in school
- Must work 4 hours per week
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook is preferred
- Strong listening and communication skills- both oral and written is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills- build trust and confidence among team is preferred
- Represent CA’s core values- demonstrate integrity, ethical standards, and a professional demeanor is preferred
Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – This role’s range is $16/hr-$22/hr. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
Benefits - Temporary and per diem employees who average, and maintain, at least 30 hours of work per week may become eligible for medical coverage, under the Affordable Care Act, after an initial waiting period. Temporary and per-diem employees working more than 20 hours per week are eligible for twelve paid holidays. All temporary and per-diem employees are eligible for accrued sick time.
