FWS (Federal Work Study) - Office Assistant
The Dean's Office for the Bryan School of Business and Economics has one (1) part-time position available for undergraduate students receiving Federal Work-Study aid. Work hours will be scheduled between Monday and Friday, between the hours of 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing front desk coverage, answering phones, and greeting guests.
- Performing basic office tasks, such as copying, filing, internet searches, and running errands.
- Sort and distribute incoming and inter-office mail.
- Stock, organize, and clean supply room.
- Keep lobby area clean, tidy, and free of hazards.
- Assisting administrative staff with daily operations and projects, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- FEDERAL WORK STUDY AWARD REQUIRED.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and Teams preferred.
- Professional appearance and conduct is expected.
- Courteous and helpful attitude.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Good organizational skills, responsible, dependable, conscientious, and punctual.
- Keen ability to identify needs and take initiative to meet them.
