Our Culture
At Techsalerator, we move fast, think big, and give interns real ownership over their craft. This is not a "busy work" internship, you'll work directly on projects that shape our brand and content. We're looking for driven, detail-oriented individuals who want hands-on editing experience and are excited to build something meaningful.
Role Overview
We're looking for a podcast production intern to help edit and produce Conversations in Data by Techsalerator, our company podcast. This role is primarily hands-on editing work in Riverside: cutting full episodes, cleaning up audio/video, and producing short-form clips for social. It's a great fit for someone who wants real editing reps and portfolio-worthy podcast work, with room to grow into broader content and marketing support.
What You'll Be Doing
Core (podcast production — most of your time)
- Help edit full podcast episodes (audio & video) in Riverside — cuts, pacing, cleanup, sound leveling
- Produce short-form clips, audiograms, and reels from each episode for LinkedIn and YouTube
- Add captions, titles, and simple graphics to episodes and clips
- Support a consistent episode format and turnaround time
- Organize and manage raw and edited podcast files
Secondary (content & marketing support)
- Help write and edit copy for newsletters, website pages, and marketing materials
- Design simple visuals (social posts, quote cards, newsletter layouts) in Canva or similar
- Support distribution of episodes and clips across platforms and track performance
- Explore AI tools to speed up editing and content workflows
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience editing audio/video: Riverside experience is a strong plus, but comparable tools (Premiere, Descript, CapCut, etc.) are fine
- An eye for pacing, clean cuts, and what makes a clip watchable/shareable
- Comfortable working independently against a recurring episode schedule
- Interest in podcasting, media, or content production
- Organized, proactive, and reliable with deadlines
- Bonus: interest in AI tools for editing/content workflows
Education & Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior editing experience (coursework, personal projects, or freelance) preferred
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Coachable, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Technologically proficient
- High school diploma/GED
- Intern must be enrolled in college
Compensation
- Unpaid internship for academic credit (must be eligible through your university)
- Hands-on experience helping produce a real, ongoing podcast
- Opportunity to build a strong editing portfolio
- Mentorship and exposure to content strategy and AI tools
