Hiring DHH Teacher- NSY 2026-2027
Full-Time (Contract)
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled DHH Teacher to join our educational team for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time contract role offering comprehensive benefits, weekly pay, and the opportunity to support students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in achieving meaningful academic and developmental growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing using evidence‑based practices
- Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student needs and district standards
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Support communication access through appropriate modalities (ASL, spoken language, visual supports, etc.)
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed School Psychologist — counselors do not meet requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel if applying as a travel candidate
