Special Education Teacher (Resource)

We're looking for a compassionate and collaborative Special Education Teacher to join a welcoming school district in Reserve, Louisiana for the 2026–2027 school year. In this resource classroom role, you'll provide individualized support that empowers students to reach their academic and personal goals while working alongside a dedicated team of educators.

Position Details

  • Position: Special Education Teacher (Resource)
  • Location: Reserve, LA
  • Assignment Dates: August 3, 2026 – May 26, 2027
  • Schedule: Full-Time
    • 35 hours per week
  • Setting: Onsite

What You'll Do

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students receiving resource services.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
