Crew Chief
This Opportunity:
· Perform Control, Boundary and Topographic Surveys
· Right of Way Plans
· Use of Trimble data collectors
· Use of drone's and 3D scanning technology
Required Qualifications:
· Previous Survey experience, including field experience
· Must have a high school diploma or GED
· Previous experience with AutoCAD
· Ability to work 10-12 hour days in remote or rural areas
· Ability to work outside in various conditions
· Willing to work out of town/travel
· This position requires an MVR records check verifying that you possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record which meets the requirements of SEH’s Driving Program.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Understanding of CDOT procedures and standards including Right-of-Way plan production
· Proficient with the use of Trimble data collectors, Trimble GPS, Trimble robotic total stations and Trimble Business Center
· Ability to apply principles and practices of land surveying
· Ability to understand and decipher horizontal/vertical datums and coordinate systems
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong math skills
