Job Summary

The SR/SF Office Student Worker will support the program's in-person and virtual service delivery by greeting guests in the main office and performing various office tasks as assigned.

 

This position is In Person therefore student employee must have the ability to secure reliable transportation to office. 


Job Duties

Office support will include: 

  • Answering the phones, and directing calls/answering questions
  • Copy/print/scan materials
  • Assisting office staff with cleaning/organizing in the building (maintaining workroom and office, taking out trash/recycling, breaking down boxes, vacuuming, etc.)
  • Maintaining mailing system for office
  • Maintain an online presence via social media, website updates
  • Assist with data entry as needed
  • Assist with set up and break down of events

 

Create: 

  • Packets/materials
  • Participant folder
  • Curriculum workbooks
  • ID videos/media, as needed

Maintain and Update: 

  • Identify relevant videos/media, as needed
  • Program storage & inventory
  • Maintain technology inventory
  • Separate electronic PDF handouts
  • Translate materials with cultural relevancy
  • Continuous monitoring of social media and program website accounts
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Schedule

This position is In Person, located in Encino Hall, suite 220

This position duties are year-long, with summer work required

Flexible work schedule between normal business hours (9am-5pm).

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION PROCESS: 

Student employees are evaluated by their supervisor at the end of each long semester.  

  

 

PAYRATE DETERMINATION: 

All student employees begin at the starting pay rate and may increase based on performance and pending additional grant-funding.
