Marketing & Promotions Internship
The Green Bay Gamblers Hockey Club is currently accepting applications for a marketing and promotions internship for the upcoming hockey season. The internship will start in September 2026 and run through May of 2027. Applicants should possess excellent people skills, be reliable and timely, be willing to learn in a fast-paced environment, and be eager to work in sports.
As a participant in the Gamblers internship program, you will gain valuable experience in all aspects of the Green Bay Gamblers organization. Previous interns have acquired full-time employment with sports teams and leagues of all levels throughout the country.
Intern characteristics desired:
- Possess excellent communication and writing skills.
- Offer superior customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and the internet. Social media skills are a plus.
- Graphic design skills are also a plus
- Have the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
- A positive and professional attitude will be expected at all times.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- 10 to 15 office hours per week plus occasional offsite events.
- Assist with community relations, pre-season promotional planning, sales initiatives, and occasional team store duties.
- Help to promote the Gamblers brand at various events and locations.
- Assist with community events, including mascot appearances and grassroots marketing events.
- Be outgoing and friendly to all patrons.
- Other duties as assigned.
