Part-Time Sales Development Associate

Straight Arrow Striping Texas LLC is seeking a motivated college student to join our team as a Part-Time Sales Development Associate. This position is designed for someone who wants to gain practical business and sales experience while continuing their education.

The associate will begin by learning our company, services, customers, and sales process while providing support to our sales and management team. As training progresses, the associate will take on lead-generation responsibilities and eventually begin contacting prospective customers and developing sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sales support, customer follow-up, and maintaining prospect information.
• Research commercial properties, contractors, property managers, municipalities, schools, and other potential customers.
• Identify parking lots that may need striping, fire-lane painting, ADA markings, wheel stops, sealcoating, asphalt repair, or other maintenance services.
• Make introductory phone calls and send follow-up emails to prospective customers.
• Help schedule appointments and prepare information for sales meetings and estimates.
• Maintain accurate lead and customer information in our customer-management system.
• Follow up with customers after training and help develop new sales opportunities.
• Represent Straight Arrow Striping Texas LLC in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college or another educational program.
• Dependable, organized, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable speaking with customers by phone, email, and in person.
• Good communication and basic computer skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Previous sales experience is helpful but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Compensation

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling around the student’s classes. Compensation includes an hourly wage, reimbursement of approved business expenses, and commission on sales generated by the associate.

Straight Arrow Striping Texas LLC will provide training, guidance, and opportunities for the associate to grow from sales support into lead generation and direct sales.
