Marketing Specialist

Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) the Marketing Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing activities that increase awareness of the company’s home health and nurse registry services, strengthen referral relationships, and support business growth. This role assists with digital marketing, community outreach, events, marketing materials, referral partner communications, and brand consistency across all channels.

 

The Marketing Specialist works closely with sales, operations, clinical, and leadership teams to ensure marketing efforts are timely, accurate, professional, and aligned with the company’s mission to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in the home. This position requires strong organization, clear communication, attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Campaign Support: Support marketing campaigns promoting home health, private duty, and nurse registry services.
    • Coordinate materials, messaging, and promotions for referral sources, clients, families, caregivers, and community partners.
    • Track activities, deadlines, and results to support performance evaluation and improvement.
  • Digital Marketing and Social Media:
    • Coordinate social media, email marketing, website updates, online listings, and other digital channels.
    • Draft, schedule, and monitor branded social media content.
    • Coordinate email campaigns and audience lists for referral partners, clients, families, caregivers, and community contacts.
    • Monitor online reviews, comments, and inquiries; escalate follow-up needs.
    • Maintain reporting on engagement, lead activity, campaigns, and digital results.
  • Content and Brand Management:
    • Create and maintain flyers, brochures, postcards, letters, newsletters, email templates, event materials, and sales collateral.
    • Ensure materials are accurate, professional, brand-aligned, and audience appropriate.
    • Maintain consistent messaging, tone, visual identity, and service descriptions across channels.
    • Organize and update marketing assets, templates, photos, logos, ads, and collateral files.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors on print and digital materials.
  • Community Outreach and Events:
    • Attend community events, health fairs, educational sessions, networking activities, and referral partner meetings as needed.
    • Prepare event materials, promotional items, sign-in sheets, displays, and follow-up lists.
    • Track event participation, referral opportunities, contacts, and follow-up actions.
  • Referral Partner and Sales Support:
    • Prepare collateral, presentations, referral packets, leave-behinds, and outreach resources for sales and business development.
    • Support communication with healthcare, senior living, care management, discharge planning, and community referral partners.
  • Project Coordination and Administration:
    • Maintain marketing calendars, project timelines, task lists, and status updates.
    • Coordinate marketing requests and prioritize work based on business needs.
    • Track deadlines for campaigns, events, ads, sponsorships, collateral, and recurring communications.
    • Request quotes, coordinate vendors, process invoices, and maintain marketing expense records.
    • Prepare basic reports, summaries, and leadership updates as requested.
  • Compliance and Professional Standards: 
    • Ensure marketing activities follow healthcare standards, company policies, HIPAA expectations, and privacy requirements.
    • Use approved service language and maintain professionalism, judgment, and discretion in all communications.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Two to four years of experience in marketing, communications, community outreach, sales support, or a related role preferred.
  • Experience in home health, private duty, nurse registry, senior care, healthcare, or community-based services is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting digital marketing, social media, events, email campaigns, or marketing collateral development preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Canva or similar design tools, email marketing platforms, and basic analytics tools helpful.

Work Environment

  • This position requires travel to community events, attendance at referral partner meetings, and occasional support at off-site marketing activities. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be needed for events or community outreach.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • This position is designated as an in-person role.
