Fall 2026 Campus Organizing Fellowship, The Wisco Project

The Organization:

The Wisco Project is Wisconsin’s largest, scrappiest youth vote organization. We run large-scale organizing and digital programming to reach and mobilize students across the state. In 2026, we will seek to build on the work of previous cycles to run our strongest program yet and score progressive victories for students across the state. This will be a crucial year for Wisconsin and we are in need of talented, dedicated students ready to take on this challenge with us!

What Will You Do?

We are looking for Campus Organizing Fellows to energize, educate, and mobilize students on college campuses across Wisconsin. Campus Fellows should be willing to be scrappy and persistent in their pursuit to exceed goals and empower their peers. The role will start in mid-August (exact start date varies by campus) and runs through 11/06/2026. 

• Fellows will spend 15 hours a week mobilizing on their campus by doing everything from leading events and volunteer recruitment to talking to students about the importance of the upcoming elections. 
• Tactics include high traffic canvassing, tabling, door-to-door canvassing, class/student organization visits, content creation, and text/phone/DM banks. This is a paid fellowship.

Who Are You?

A successful candidate for this role will have: 

• Have a passion for progressive politics and inspiring young people to get involved
• Be excited to think outside the box and to ideate and innovate to find the most exciting and effective volunteer recruitment and get out the vote tactics
• Be eager to talk to as many students as possible (and be comfortable talking to a lot of strangers/potential volunteers)
• Be scrappy and flexible; able to manage several tasks simultaneously
• Be a self-starter, exceptionally well-organized, and have strong time management skills
• Be enrolled at a Wisconsin college/university/tech school. Non-students can apply for one of our full-time roles. 

Job Details: Fellows are compensated with a monthly stipend of $1,000 and expected to work 15 hours per week.
