Start as a Photographer Assistant

This is an entry-level position and the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, sales, and customer service.

You will:

  • Assist with printing guest photos
  • Prepare and assemble photo frames
  • Present finished photos to guests
  • Support the photographer throughout the shift

Grow into a Photographer

After training, you’ll have the opportunity to advance to the Photographer position.

You will:

  • Approach guests and offer photo opportunities
  • Take high-quality photos using company-provided equipment
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Work together with your assistant to maximize sales

Compensation

Photographer Assistant

  • $15.92/hour
  • Part-time position
  • Weekly pay
  • W-2 employment

Photographer – Commission-Based

  • Commission pay
  • Eligible for tips
  • Weekly pay
  • W-2 employment

Typical earnings:

  • Slow weekdays: $150–$180 per shift
  • Busy weekends: $250–$500+ per shift

Actual earnings depend on guest volume, location, and individual performance.

Schedule

  • Flexible part-time schedule
  • 6–12 hour shifts
  • Minimum availability: 2–3 shifts per week
  • Best earning opportunities on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • Great for students or anyone looking for flexible evening or weekend work

  • Sales, customer service, or photography experience is a plus, but not required
