About Bakes for Breast Cancer
Bakes for Breast Cancer is a non-profit that funds grants for breast cancer research through partnered events with local bakeries, restaurants, markets, etc. in the Northeast and DMV. Our mission is to end the effects of breast cancer and find a cure one sweet treat at a time!
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Mass Email Campaigns: Help create mass email campaigns that encourage businesses to register for events while conveying the organization’s message
- Participant Recruitment: Canvas communities through phone calls, emails, and meetings to get more registrations for fundraising events
- Spreadsheet Organization: Maintain event spreadsheets and keep them consistently up-to-date
- B2B Marketing: Work with Social Media team on developing LinkedIn profile to appeal to potential business partners
Qualifications
- Able to work remotely and manage time spent on projects independently
- Experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Experience with digital marketing
- Campaign strategy development a plus
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills for team settings
- Eager to contribute and passionate about their work
Note that this internship is remote and unpaid.
Academic credits offered: Check with an advisor if this position satisfies course requirements
