About the Role
PlayWisely is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team. This is a paid internship with one of Dallas' leading early childhood development programs, serving families with children ages 0 to 5. In this role, you will work directly with PlayWisely's Owner and CEO, gaining hands-on mentorship and firsthand insight into how a growing company builds its brand and marketing strategy from the top down. You will support our marketing efforts, strengthen our online presence, and help more Dallas families discover the value of purposeful play in their child's development.
Responsibilities
Social Media Management: Drive our online presence through active engagement on social media platforms. Regularly post engaging content that highlights brain development, early literacy, motor skills, and the milestones our students reach in class. Monitor and respond to comments and messages, and help implement strategies to grow brand awareness among parents.
Graphic Design: Use Canva or Adobe software to create engaging graphics and visual assets for class promotions, social posts, and website banners. Ensure all designs align with PlayWisely's brand guidelines and warm, parent friendly tone.
Video Editing: Edit engaging video content that captures our classes in action and communicates our core message, that small, individualized classes build a child's cognitive foundation and future. Collaborate with the marketing team on videos for campaigns across platforms.
Copywriting: Contribute strong written communication skills to develop clear, persuasive copy for our website, social posts, blog articles, and email campaigns. Keep messaging centered on purposeful play, brain development, and individualized attention, and maintain consistent tone across all channels.
CRM and Registration Support: Learn our registration system and website platform to help track enrollment trends, support email campaigns, and identify opportunities to improve the parent journey from website visit to class registration.
Marketing Support: Assist with market research, competitive analysis, and campaign performance tracking. Attend marketing meetings directly with the Owner and CEO, contribute ideas, and support enrollment growth goals across our class offerings.
