Position Overview

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Podcast Producer Intern to join our team. In this role, you’ll help bring stories to life through audio - managing both the long-form podcast episodes, audiobooks and short-form social clips that extend our reach across platforms.

This is an ideal opportunity for a student passionate about media production, storytelling, and creative collaboration who’s eager to gain real-world experience in podcast production from concept to release.
 

About the Wonder Workshop

The Wonder Workshop is a kids book series that helps children understand different kinds of careers. They are recording audio books from each of the stories and would like help editing the audio and getting it ready for publish. Each book is virtually given away for free and the goal is to increase access by the audiobooks. 

About WTF Talks 

WTF Talks is a podcast hosted by the Better Together Group. We talk about Working Hard, Telling the Truth and Finishing the job - wtf. We talk all things HR, Hiring, Staffing and family business. 
 

Responsibilities

Edit and mix long-form podcast episodes, ensuring clear audio, balanced sound, and smooth pacing.

Create short-form audio/video clips for social media and promotional use.

Upload and publish episodes to podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, etc.) with proper metadata, descriptions, and tags.

Collaborate with the Wonder Workshop and Better Together Group team to brainstorm new content ideas, guests, and series themes.

Assist with show notes, transcripts, and highlight quotes for marketing use.

Maintain the podcast production calendar, ensuring deadlines are met.

Support occasional recording sessions (remote or in-person) and manage raw files.
 

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Production, or related field. OR … wishing you had and wanting to explore alternative opportunities. 

Strong attention to detail, organization, and storytelling instincts.

Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a collaborative creative environment.
