Accounting Internship - Spring 2027
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and required disclosures in a timely manner
- Prepare workpapers to accurately document all work and support conclusions, including analytical procedures and relevant checklists/programs
- Prepare tax returns for corporations, partnerships, nonprofits, trusts, and individuals.
- Propose and prepare journal entries
- Perform related duties as assigned by manager/partner
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Professional, organized, and detail-oriented
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
- Capable of prioritizing and managing several activities, clients and deadlines
