Photography & Videography Fellow

Project Fellowship | In-Person | Bronx, NY

Blue Pearl Theatrics is seeking a creative Photography & Videography Fellow to document our Youth Performing Arts Conservatory and Youth Performance Gala.

This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging photographer, filmmaker, or content creator to build a professional portfolio while capturing the journey of young performers from rehearsal through the final performance.

 

Responsibilities

Photograph and film weekly Friday Conservatory sessions.

Capture behind-the-scenes footage, student interviews, rehearsals, and promotional content.

Create weekly media assets for social media and marketing.

Document dress rehearsals, the final performances, and the Youth Performance Gala.

 

Weekly Deliverables

Within 48–72 hours of each Friday session:

25–50 photos

One highlight reel (30–60 seconds)

3–5 short vertical videos

Student interview clips

Behind-the-scenes footage and B-roll

 

Schedule

Fridays through September 4

Approximately 4 hours each Friday

Additional coverage for dress rehearsal, performance preparation, final performances, and the Youth Performance Gala.

Fellowship Benefits

$950 project stipend, payable upon successful completion of the fellowship.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who is creative, dependable, collaborative, and passionate about visual storytelling. Applicants should have photography and/or videography experience, access to camera equipment, and the ability to meet weekly editing deadlines.

Students, recent graduates, and emerging creative professionals are encouraged to apply.
