Supervisory Public Health Advisor

As a Supervisory Public Health Advisor, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership and serve as a senior advisor on behavioral health policies, programs, and initiatives.
  • Oversee program planning, implementation, evaluation, and performance to advance SAMHSA priorities and improve outcomes for diverse populations.
  • Lead policy development, legislative activities, research, and program evaluation efforts.
  • Coordinate with HHS and other Federal agencies to support evidence-based decision-making and achievement of Departmental goals.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Federal, State, local, Tribal, and community partners.
  • Represent SAMHSA in promoting behavioral health initiatives, strengthening partnerships, and advancing public health objectives.
  • Direct organizational operations, workforce management, and resource planning.
  • Supervise staff, oversees financial and administrative functions, and ensures compliance with Federal workforce and EEO requirements.
